M&S Super Wholefood Salad

M&S Super Wholefood Salad

By Bill on October 12, 2010

“Super wholefood salad with a mint vinaigrette” This isn’t my favorite salad in the M&S Super Wholefood line. It has loads of healthy stuff–edamame, chickpeas, pumpkin seeds, lentils–but it’s just not as flavorful as their other salads. As advertised, it’s very minty, but that’s all I wrote while taking my tasting notes. It would make […]

M&S Simply Fuller Longer Tomato & Basil Chicken with Couscous & Butternut Squash

By Sharon on September 15, 2010

“Tomato & basil chicken, couscous & butternut squash with a sweet balsamic dressing.” Sharon rule: When it comes to food prep, the less the better. When left to my own devices, I’ll eat a progressive dinner of cheese and crackers, yogurt, peanut butter from a spoon, followed by whatever sweet thing is in the house. […]

M&S Edamame Soya Bean Salad

M&S Edamame Soya Bean Salad

By Bill on August 31, 2010

“Edamame soya bean salad with a chili & coriander dressing” This is a great salad. The veggies (sugar-snap peas, broad beans, green beans and, of course, edamame) are crisp, flavorful and sweet. The dressing is gingery and spicy and not too oily. I’ve nothing bad to say about this salad except that it’s hard to […]

M&S Super Wholefood Shaker Salad

M&S Super Wholefood Shaker Salad

By Bill on August 4, 2010

“Lentils, quinoa, edamame soya beans and roasted butternut squash with a lemon and herb dressing.” This salad tastes more “healthy” to me than delicious. It certainly has a lot of healthy stuff in it. I’m a bit surprised by the amount of fat, though. It all comes from the dressing, which contains “basil-infused sunflower oil.” […]
